BIOGRAPHY
Elisabetta Marinello is an Italian writer born in Terni in 1969.
An author of novels, short stories, and poetry, she began her publishing career in 1999 with the novel …Serena / Luna…, published by Edizioni Thyrus. Over the years, alongside fiction, she has also devoted herself to poetry, contributed to anthologies, and created works that intertwine literature, memory, art, and the inner dimension of human experience.
After earning a language diploma and a qualification in typing, she began studying ethno-anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities, before later leaving the course to pursue nursing studies. She worked for several years at the “Santa Maria” Hospital in Terni.
For the following twenty years, she devoted herself to raising her three children. During this period, she also enrolled in a degree programme in Sciences and Technologies of Artistic Production, although family commitments prevented her from completing the course.
Following her son’s admission to the Dance School of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, she moved to Rome, where she worked in home care for two years. She currently works in the management of domestic employment contracts, while continuing to pursue her literary and cultural activities.
